While staying in the house, our dedicated field workers walk alongside each person as they begin their reintegration journey. From setting up financial support and securing essential documents like ID and a bank account, to gently reconnecting with family and whānau back in Australia, we’re here to make those first steps feel supported and grounded. The care doesn’t stop there—ongoing social support is available, along with guidance around employment opportunities and finding a place to call your own.

Palmerston North is in the central region of the North Island of New Zealand and is in close proximity to the east and west coasts, and the capital city, Wellington. It has good infrastructure with plenty of work available in a range of industries. It also has a thriving academic and farming sector.

After your initial settling in period, if you wish to relocate to another community, we can assist you with that also. Palmerston North can be a permanent home, or a steppingstone on your reintegration journey.
